Husein Hadi was born and raised in the Alief neighborhood of Houston, Texas. As a son of two immigrant parents, he was inspired early on to pursue a career helping others. Mr. Hadi attended and graduated from Debakey High School for Health Professions with a desire to become a cardiologist. After high school, Mr. Hadi enrolled at the University of Houston. During this time, he participated in several student organizations including the Phi Alpha Delta organization, along with starting and operating his first business. After discovering his passion for persuasion along with continuing his development of successful leadership skills, Mr. Hadi decided his talents were better utilized helping others in another capacity than the medical field.
In 2006, Mr. Hadi graduated from the Bauer College of Business and in that same year, he began law school at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law with intentions to practice as a personal injury attorney. While in law school, Mr. Hadi interned with The Gutierrez Law Firm, a prominent personal injury law firm in South Texas, under the guidance of Baldemar Gutierrez. In this position, he learned the tools in order to best represent clients of personal injury claims; the need to vigorously advocate for injured clients while protecting their best interest-the experience at this internship provided the framework for The Hadi Law Firm.
As a dedicated intern at The Gutierrez Law Firm, Mr. Hadi demonstrated an equal commitment to his studies allowing him to obtain enough credits in advance of his graduating class in order to sit for the February 2009 Texas Bar Exam. Upon passing the bar exam and earning his license to practice law from The State of Texas, Mr. Hadi founded The Hadi Law Firm. From the day of injury until the final settlement, Mr. Hadi provides knowledge, efficiency, and individualized attention to each client’s case. Jamil Alani Thomas was raised in the Chicago area, and graduated from Naperville Central High School. Ms. Thomas attended the University of Pittsburgh on an academic scholarship seeking to pursue a degree in Information Science. After discovering her lack of passion for that area of study, she changed her major and became involved in Student Government, the Chancellor’s Distinguished Teaching Award Committee, and several non-partisan student political organizations. While a student at the University of Pittsburgh, Ms. Thomas served as a legislative research intern for The Allegheny County Council as well as State Representative Mark Mustio.
After graduating early and earning degrees in Political Science and Rhetoric & Communication, Ms. Thomas accepted a position as a property manager in a low income housing community in Pittsburgh. During her tenure, Ms. Thomas initiated many programs focused on family and community building, including family nights, beautification projects on common grounds, spring cleaning projects, and rewarding the children residents for excellence in school. While enjoying her work at the community, Ms. Thomas sought to develop her passion for helping others on a larger scale and decided to obtain a graduate degree. After exploring the opportunities available with a graduate degree, she chose law school and moved to Houston, Texas to attend Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
Ms. Thomas has earned several awards for her top performance in her studies and was on the dean’s list for her last two years in law school. After graduating Cum Laude in May of 2009, Ms. Thomas sat for the Texas Bar Exam in July of 2009. In December of 2009, Ms. Thomas began work at Daniel Barrera and Associates, P.C. As an associate attorney at the firm, she assisted Mr. Barrera with all aspects of civil litigation. One of her noted accomplishments is as primary author on an appeal brief to the Court of Appeals and a response to a Petition to Review to the Supreme Court of Texas. As a result of her legal research on several aspects on homeowners right of redemption and persuasive legal writing the Court of Appeals overturned the lower court’s ruling and ruled in favor of their client. Subsequently the appellee petitioned the Supreme Court for review of The Court of Appeals ruling, and their request was denied. In addition to civil litigation, Ms. Thomas enjoys practicing in the area of family law. As of January 2014, Ms. Thomas is an associate attorney at The Hadi Law Firm.
In her free time, Ms. Thomas likes to read and spend time with family and friends.
Mr. Sedrick Stagg was born and raised in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Throughout his life he has been committed to helping others. During his senior year of high school, Mr. Stagg was a member of AmeriCorps. Mr. Stagg moved to Houston, Texas to pursue a degree in finance at Texas Southern University. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Mr. Stagg served as the president of a campus organization called True Life Change, an organization focused on helping students improve their academic and spiritual lives through biblical teachings.
After graduating and earning a degree in finance, Mr. Stagg decided to pursue his passion to become an attorney. Mr. Stagg attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law. While in law school Mr. Stagg was an editorial board member of law review. Mr. Stagg interned at various law firms, which equipped him with experience in a broad range of legal areas.
He received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2016, graduating Summa Cum Laude. After being admitted to the Texas State Bar, Mr. Stagg accepted a position at Lam, Lynn, & Philip, PLLC. As an associate attorney at the firm, he handled and resolved hundreds of civil matters. Mr. Stagg then accepted a position as Disaster Relief Attorney with Lone Star Legal Aid. Here, he provided legal services to low-income Texans. In 2018, Mr. Stagg accepted a position as an associate attorney at The Hadi Law Firm with The Texas Torch.
In his free time, Mr. Stagg enjoys volunteering in his community. He is a member of Refuge Temple Ministries. He is also, a director of Highways and Hedges, an organization focused on bringing hope to all people through a changed life.
Ariana Tiana Mehdipour was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Ms. Mehdipour started working at The Hadi Law Firm in 2014 after graduating from Seven Lakes High School. Ms. Mehdipour attended the University of Houston where she pursued a degree in Marketing. After graduating early from the Bauer College of Business in December 2017, she attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence in December 2020, graduating Cum Laude. After being admitted to the Texas State Bar, Ms. Mehdipour continued her employment with the Hadi Law Firm as an attorney.
In her free time, Ms. Mehdipour likes to spend time with her friends and family.
Anita Sasha Mehdipour was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She attended high school at Seven Lakes High School. As a junior in high school, Ms. Mehdipour started working at The Hadi Law Firm.
After graduating high school, Ms. Mehdipour attended the University of Houston where she pursued a degree in Business Management. After graduating early from the Bauer Business of College, she attended Thurgood Marshall School of Law. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2020, graduating Cum Laude. After being admitted to the Texas State Bar, Ms. Mehdipour continued her employment with The Hadi Law Firm.
In her free time, Ms. Mehdipour likes to try new restaurants in the Houston area and spend time with friends and family.
Attorney Thomas is an associate attorney with The Hadi Law Firm. Attorney Thomas grew up in Illinois in the Chicagoland suburb called Naperville. He completed his Undergraduate studies at Aurora University and obtained his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Shortly after Attorney Thomas moved from the Chicagoland area to Houston to work as a legal assistant at The Hadi Law Firm. While working as a legal assistant with The Hadi Law Firm, he learned various aspects of personal injury in both pre-litigation and litigation process. Attorney Thomas was also encouraged by Attorney Jamil Thomas and Attorney Husein Hadi to attend law school. After much encouragement Attorney Thomas attended and obtained his Juris Doctorate Degree from (TSU) Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
Following graduation and passing the Texas Bar exam Attorney Thomas resumed working with The Hadi Law Firm as an Associate Attorney. In his free time, Attorney Thomas enjoys spending time with friends and family. Attorney Thomas also enjoys watching Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears games.
